Uganda
Uganda is the third poorest country in the world with a total population of just over 28 million people. Half the population is under the age of 14. Orphans represent 10% of the total population. One of every six people in Uganda is dying of the AIDS virus.
Children in Uganda die daily from malnutrition, lack of medical treatment, and basic necessities. Many of the children live in desperate situations, sleeping on dirt floors, and becoming infested with lice, fleas, and worms. Many will grow up with no education due to a lack of resources.
Mission Focus
Orphan’s Heart is working alongside Hines Ugandan Ministries to help bring a message of hope by ministering to the spiritual and physical needs of widows and orphans in Kamonkoli, a village in eastern Uganda.
We desire to see these children grow up knowing they have eternal life in Christ and to give them the love that He desires for them. The children are the future of the country, reaching them now will make a difference for each child and for Uganda. Please prayerfully consider going with us on this very special international mission opportunity.
